Collection: Spoons/ Utensils
The process we follow for making kitchen utensils, start by selecting the correct and clean wood, then we rough carve by hand tools, next we add any details such as handle, width by using bandsaw, the last step of making wooden utensils is sanding we start with G40 to get the accurate shape followed by G80 then G120 then we wash our spoon with water to rise the grain then we hand sand them while wet with G180 then rinse with water and hand sand again with G320 sandpaper rinse under running water. then we let them dry overnight, when they fully dry, we remove any leftover dust after that we apply oils, we use grapeseed oil, but any food safe or mineral oil should be fine. last step we inspect the spoon for any cracks or damage. the spoon is now ready to send it to our lovely customers, we recommend you treasure them for life then past them to next generation.
